Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Remember the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His poetic words and actions have inspired us all. While his “I have a dream” speech is over 50 years old – his impact is still felt far and wide. Today we celebrate him: “I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear,” he also said.

"If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward."

"And so we shall have to do more than register and more than vote; we shall have to create leaders who embody virtues we can respect, who have moral and ethical principles we can applaud with enthusiasm."
